Blogger can have stats by using google analytics. That is what my technical guy told me. I believe that should place it on part with Wordpress. Also Blogger should get into google must faster than wordpress!
this is one of the best thing blogger can do do. they can rank faster and index faster rather than word press.
You can import any other old blogs you on onto wordpress
There are hundreds of free themes for wordpress
Wordpress is alot more flexible then blogger

It is so easy to customize everything in wordpress if you know alittle bit of CSS and HTML
