So I'm new to this whole blogging thing, but I think I've got the hang of it. (Just needed a place to talk about my views on politics)

So anyway, I promoted the site via Digg, Stumbleupon, Reddit, etc., and I've gotten a lot of hits from people (150 range after starting to promote the site last night, not including the bots from these sites). The only problem is, I don't get any comments. In my posts, I try to invite people to comment by asking questions about how events affect their decisions, or by even asking their views. Heck, people have even "Dugg" and commented on my site through the other social bookmarking sites, but yielded the commenting system.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Responding to comments would build a stronger user base, as they know I'm active and willing to communicate with them. (From the research I've done anyway)

Thanks in advance.
