readers that are extremely interested in your blog or article will leave comments. but if you want to attract people to comment on your blog, there are 2 easy ways that i see people using. buy blog comments or make your blog do follow (moderate of course) and announce on the forums that you made your blog dofollow. you will have comments like never ending

Some open questions at the end of the blog post can sometimes work really nice. I'd keep on adding relevant content and try to advertise the blog in its niche. I am sure the comment rate will increase little by little.

I've been trying to leave a question like this at the end of my post and it has helped.

It does help to ask questions. Another thing that can help is to not say everything in your posts. You need to leave a little room for others to talk. If you write all inclusive posts there might not be much for others to add.

i find that most of my (admittedly few) comments come from bloggers whose sites i posted comments on. after a few return trips, i begin to seem familiar so perhaps they get curious and visit my site. still, we're only talking about a handful of people in my experience, and yet, it's a start.
