I enjoy reading a bunch of blogs (most are regulars here at WT ), and I'm curious what you do when you find a good blog? Do you:
  • Subscribe to it's RSS feed?
  • Socially Bookmark it?
  • Bookmark it under your browser's "favorite's" folder?
  • Or just type the URL in manually every time?
Or is there some other method you use to visit and read all of them whenever you feel like it?

There are only a few blogs I read:

1) My brother's which I have bookmarked in favorites
2) My daughter's which I get an email to my cell when ever she posts
3) A few people around WT - then I'll click the link if something piques my interest at that time.

So you don't really have all them in one place for quick and easy access, Kandi?

I was curious too because I probably have about 10-15 blogs I check regularly for updates, all underneath a "blogs" folder in my firefox bookmarks.

Maybe there's perhaps a more efficient way to find out whether there's new posts (all in one place) or not?

I use the Sage extension for Firefox as my rss reader. I save everything as a live bookmark and then it's right there in Sage in the sidebar.

I can't even count how many blogs I'm subscribed to at this point, a few hundred. I have them somewhat organized and I'm trying to reorganize them based on how often I need or want to read them. So in time I'll have them organized into daily, weekly, and monthly reads.

Anytime I come across a new blog that looks interesting I subscribe to it. It ends up at the end of my list and over time if I still like it it moves up. Other blogs that I stop finding useful get deleted or at least moved down on the list.

I use Google Homepage.

I track around 20 blogs! Makes a big page, but I find it easy to check

No, there really aren't that many that I read regularly so it's not that time consuming or hard to keep track of.

Good post its not that easy to find good blogs by searching on google alone is it, i have noticed this, really a bit of a flaw in the search process, even if you use the google blogs search, i still found it difficult to find blogs with the content i was searching on

I only keep track of a handful of blogs that I read so the method I prefer is subscribe it via email.
