I have wordpress setup finally. So I was in hopes of promoting some pages soon maybe tonight.
Well I thought I had everything done but nooooo
I want to make posts only appear in the category I place them in.
It came with a default Uncategorized category which is fine for my normal HOMEPAGE posts. Well when I submit stuff to other categories it also goes to the homepage not under "Uncategorized" category.

How can I make my posts only go to the category I place them in?
Should I delete "Uncategorized" and will it just go to the homepage like "http://www.cowsgonemadd3.com" instead of http://www.cowsgonemadd3.com/category/uncategorized/

See I have videos I only want in the videos category and not the homepage where I talk about different content. If thats possible. I wish I could post into pages as a blog but it does not allow that either.

All your latest blog posts will go on to your home page, not just ones that are in the "uncategorized" category.

You'll notice this by going to:
Dashboard > Settings > Reading > "Front Page Displays"

That first section will tell you it displays all your latest posts. If you want just your "Uncategorized" posts (Or a new category, like "Videos" or whatever) on your home page, check out this plugin:

Yes as Jamestl2 says all your blog post's will go to your homepage , but you can also do this to solve the problem aswell.

Go To:
Dashboard > Settings > Reading > "Front page displays" then once you see
Front page displays you will see where it says "A static page (select below)"

So since thats there go to Write>Create New page, then after you create it set that page to always be viewed on your frontpage,

just use that page you created for the front static page at that option menu an it will stay as your frontpage an you can use it an update it add new content an so forth, well problem solved.
