Hello,

I want to build a website that, among other things, features a forum (going with vBulletin or phpBB) and a decent blog where users can create their own blogs.

I want users to only have to use one, unique login for both (whole site).
Is there a way this can be done, without having to resort to using Joomla or something like that?

Also, can you recommend a good blog for my website in general?

It seems you like to be like google; having gamal acct as its blogger.com acct, too.

Its quite complicated. As for me, I rather choose to register on a forum and a blog platform using the same username (but with separate registration)

You have to try Blogger. it is really helpful for manage two or more then blog in same account.

Vbulletin is a forum and has a blogs plugin, have a look on their website, its pretty good i have it on my site here http://worldofchat.co.uk/Forum/blog.php
