I have been researching many webmaster forums and finding it difficult to have one page showing me a poll of the best blogger of your choice.

I have set up a poll for Wordpress, Blogger, Nucleus, Textpattern, TypePad, Drupal, Others <link removed>

Please cast your vote and post a comment supporting your choice for the same. It would be very helpful for a lot of users who would wanna see practically about which is being used the most.

I suggest you go for WordPress.

Go with WordPress. Numerous tests have shown that Wordpress works best among 1000s of blog engines.

Considering Google's business model ... how would that make any sense?

I conducted a poll in my site shown above and wordpress is the undisputed winner..

I used to use Wordpress, but I got sick of all the security holes and switched back to MovableType.

I think Wordpress is the best voted platform for blogging too.

if you wish to generate any revenue from your site, you need to host WordPress on your own domain. You cannot use a free hosted WordPress blog due to the conditions that they impose in this section of their FAQ.

So for me the Self Hosted Wordpress is the Best Blogging Platform

Not necessarily. Just because blogger is owned by google does not necessarily mean that it automatically gets better search rankings or that it is better implemented in SEO. You can experiement by running through various searches in Google and see whether Wordpress posts come up more or whether Blogger posts comes up more in the search results.

I switched from Blogger to Wordpress because I can host wordpress on my own shared webhost and then customize the code, functionality, and look and feel. In particular, I like to recode Wordpress to use h1 for the post titles instead of h2 -- for better SEO.

You can use Wordpress, Typepad, or Blogger.

i would say wordpress is the most popular and widely used blogging platform. however, which CMS is best really depends on your needs. Joomla offers lot more advanced features that are not offered on wordpress but very few people really need those features. so considering popularity, wordpress is the best. then again, think about what you need form a blogging platform and see which CMS can meet your need

for me, it doesnt matter what you use, but how you use it and how you SEO it.

I prefer Blogger over Wordpress..
