Hello everyone!

This is my first post on this forum and I am hoping to receive some helpful comments on a template I am working on for my portfolio.

I intend for this to be a website template for a community or company that uses a blog and forum. I intend to make a forum theme in the future that will mesh with this template.

I will update this post as I work on the .psd file.

Version 1:


Some notes: Currently working in grayscale while I work on the layout. Colors will be added closer to the end. Suggestions are welcome for colors.

The gray area on the top of the sidebar (on the left) is a potential ad area. Some suggestions on ad placement would be appreciated.

The template is simple. Font color should be a little bit darker. I find it not-so-good to look (try to compare it by staring in any post in this forum and to your template.)
