I'm new to blogs and I have a question concerning archives

If I for example write something on a blog say on June 30th. And, the comments start coming in the next day July 1st.

On my archives all the responses will be credited to the month of June correct?

Typically, (such as in wordpress) the comments to your post stays associated with your post. So if you post is in June, then comments stays in June along with your post (regardless of when the comments are posted).

Lets put it in a scenario: Let say you post a good blog article last month and i comment it today, my comment will not count for this month but rather for the previous month where you post that blog articles.

The date is related to the post, not to the comments.

Nail on the head! That's a similiar scenario I mentioned to start this thread.

I have a January blog for example and people are commenting and it's credited to January. Not May, June, July etc....
