im not looking for the services that i pay for certain amount pf visitors... they are paid or told to visit my site... they have no interest, just visiting.. im not looking for just that. i want my site into search engines and stuff.

yes that would help increase your traffic. do more social bookmarking.

forum posting helps too with traffic too if they click on your signature but forums give you more back links rather than traffic.

also try doing some blog commenting and yedda and wiki answers.
