Hey Guys,
I'm very very slow when it comes to blogging.. But, I want to install a BLOG on the front page of my site:

http://www.sevenbeez.com

Is this possible to put a blog into a certain area of my existing site??? Or does it have to be on it's own page or what? I"m totally clueless, and I keep reading tutorials / documentation, but I have ADD or something.. Can you guys let me know?

You can install Wordpress to your main domain by uploading the files and folder to the root, or "public_html" directory. You may also create a subfolder for your blog and upload the files to that folder. For example if you name the folder "myblog" the Blog url will be yourdomain.com/myblog/

I hope that answers your question well enough.

If you have an existing site with content then the best route would be to set up Wordpress in a sub-directory, otherwise you will lose the content on the current main page.

Reply if you have more questions

Ok, I guess my best bet would be to install wordpress in a subdirectory..

How hard is it to apply my current style of my website <-- http://www.sevenbeez.com to the WordPress blog??

does word press allow me to edit the stylesheets / headers and everything so I can maintain the same look and feel?

Yes, the template theme and style sheet are very customizable. In fact that is how so many people are able to create custom themes. The level of difficulty will depend upon how well you know code and css.

The best way to do this is to adjust your WP theme step by step.
Take the style.css from your site and apply bit by bit to your WP stylesheet and observe what happens.
You have to take the pictures from your site images folder and upload them to the images folder within your WP theme.
Hope you're comfortable with FTP cause that's the easiest way to do this.

Look at the names of the current WP images. You might consider renaming some of your sites images (before or after upload) to the names of the WP theme to avoid going to all the PHP-code.

BTW, cool site.

I have successfully integrated my site with Wordpress.. The Blog is on the home page.. http://www.sevenbeez.com

It was pretty tedious trying to get the CSS to look right.. but anyways, I'm happy with it..

Check it out!!!!!!!
