I have an interesting problem. I have a preexisting site (http://www.sbanglican.org) that I want to be able to manage easily from any location by logging in. A content management system or some sort of blog software would be ideal.

However, I have been having a terrible time finding any CMS solution that isn't excessively geared towards blogs and news and other really dynamic content. This site is really static!

Another issue is that while a lot of the CMS suites I've tried are very versatile, I've had a hard time getting them to look just like my existing site, since I have hand coded it. I guess I'd ideally like something that lets you just paste in the layout and all the HTML from scratch.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me? thanks a lot.

Notepad + Filezilla.

By their very nature, any CMS is "geared" to "dynamic content" because as soon as you use a CMS, your content becomes "dynamic" as in served from a database.

I am not sure why you have an aversion to dynamic content, because to me, a CMS makes that simple. How about Joomla? There are a few templates out there, many that change from 2 or 3 columns easily. Swap in your header graphic, and your good.
