i have been working on http://contraildesigns.com lately. i want to have the homepage be frozen at a certain page that serves as an intro, rather than being a page showing the latest posts. is there a way to do this without modifying too much code? i would like to be able to stick with the template i am currently using. any help is appreciated.

i should have specified, but i have version 2.7. i have looked into it a bit and it seems there was an option included in the reading customization section between 2.1 and the latest version pre 2.7 .... it seems to be a problem others have faced, i was wondering if anyone knew of a workaround

even easier then

login -> Settings -> Reading -> select "A static page" -> Choose a page from the drop down.
