I just thoughts interesting to know what are the number of comments your blog is getting for each post... Obviously make money online and IM blogs get more comments compare to other niches.. My make money online blog gets 10+ a day and my basketball blog gets 2-3..

Well when I still had my blog I used to get about 25 comments a day on each post on my technology blog...

I just started a blog so I have none but I will keep adding content because I know this will help. How long were you blogging until you started getting comments on a regular basis?

I get a few hundred on one of my news blog dailyglobal.com.

I get 1 or 2 each day even if I get a thousand or more visitors. If you want commentators to pour, make your comment links 'dofollow'. I'm sure bloggers will pour in, see, free link in every comment posted!lol.

For some of my established blogs, I usually get 1 or 2 comments per post..

my blogs used to get 3 to 4 comments a day, but i already moderate the other comments because of spamming!

I always get spammy comments, around 2-3 a day, sometimes I don't get any. (I'd rather have none than spam)

I do get both comments that are great and some are spam... I just delete the spams and answer those good comments... the comments part of my blog is another way to interact with my visitor, I make sure that questions are answered, suggestions are accounted for and comments are appreciated...

I used to get something like 30-70 spam comments,then after I change to a different host, I decided to implement spam control. Though who want to comment need to register first. I also put in Akismet Spam control, now I sometime have only about 1 spam comment per month (I think)

My web design blog gets 5-10 comments per post, although its only a few months old.

I seldom receive comments from viewers but when they do comment on my blog, I moderate it and delete it when it's spammy.

Never gotten any useful comments, just from friends at school. It really doesn't bother me, frankly because i've been told by my teachers that "I'm advanced for my age." That is good enough.

I got 1-2 comments per post at my 3 blogs."I do not receive daily comments not like others" - Good you should moderate your blog comments to avoid spam comments saying non sense at your blog posts.

I do not get comments on my blog, nor do I allow comments. In fact, the commenting system has been turned off and the comments sections removed from my themes.

My forums are my commenting system. The way this works, I will post an article on my blog with a link to the forum where the article can be discussed. As a result, my blog is the 5th highest source of traffic to my forum.

The purpose of this was for members not to have to create more then one account, as my blog and my forum have different domain names.

I was getting and average of like 7-10 comments per post but I slacked of the whole month of December, so not i'm getting like 1-3. I'm sure it will get better as I start commenting more on blogs again.

5-6 comments on my posts a day and 10-12 spammy comments a day...

I typically get a couple good quality comments per day and 5 or 6 spammers. I highly recommend Akismet to limit your work on clearing out the spam. Its awesome!

Most of the time, I receive spammy Comments. Plus some people are contradicting each others' opinions through comments.
