When I click on a link to my blog from my main website the URL defaults to:

www.mysite.com/blog/

What I really want it to show in the URL is

www.mysite.com/blog/the-name-of-the-last-post


How can i set that up in my template tags?
Help please.

Yes I tried that.
It's now set to /%day%/%postname%/
in the Settings/Permalinks .
Still has the same problem.
Is there a tag that I need in order for the blog to use the correct URL?

if u want to show the url only after the blog name like this..

domain.com/blog/the-post-title

i permalinks, custom structure. add
/%postname%/

this will show the url structure as u required.
