The best tip I can share as I ponder coming up to our 3 year mark at MandM is to set yourself realistic goals about how often you will post and try to stick to them; try to make it consistent to keep your readership happy.

For most of us it is not viable to post 5 entries a day but I find even if your readers work out that you will post a couple of times a week, every week, they will still come back.

First and main suggest is choose that blog site which allows you put meta tag and description in the blog.

Also the second most thing is write daily in your blog.

Write on interesting topics which will provide you organic traffic also to your site.

Change your theme to be more SEO -ized. Most blog systems use horrible themes by default (ie: Wordpress). Even taking out the monthly archives link might help if it's good for readers too

Make sure to comment on other blogs regularly and leave a link to your blog in the process. This is an excellent way of gaining more traffic.

Use visuals often as this will attract the reader more than blogs which are just text dense.

Write a regular post
Use effective titles on your blogs
Comment on related popular blogs

Three things which I learn from others and saw at other forums. Here are they -

i) Use original and quality content to your blog.

ii) Try to build link with your niche

iii) Keep updating your blog in a rhythmic manner. Like if you want to post once in a day than follow that one strictly.

This was really helpful to me and I saw some positive changes as well.

First choose that kind of blogs which are allows you to put keywords.
Regular Update your blog.write your blog which must related with world exclusive news.by doing this you will get traffic.

Start some contests, get sponsors for the prize. This should be done once very month, and your blog will get constant visitors and returning ones.

to be updated about the topic that one has made with his blog, he can subscribe to google alerts and receive alerts about new content created regarding or in relation to his blog topic. by doing so, the author or the blog owner will also be updated on the new "stuffs" that are going around in his topic niche and can even create an up to time article about it. that is what I do and by doing so i am able to create fresh and up to date posts with it.

Try to build your subscriber population You can do this by giving away free stuff on your blog.

Use wordpress and use seoized theme.... post unqiue content..
