What if I want to hire blogger who will promote my site in different blogs. I have good writing skills and can write posts but know nothing about blogs and how to promote posts. Could you recommend me a professional? Thanks

Rather than make 10 so-so posts every day, make 3-5 really good ones. If you want to increase exposure, the 10 so-so ones will help in the short term, but in the long run 3-5 good ones will grow the subscriber base more.

Do linnk buliding such as blog commenting, forum posting, social bookmarking and directory submission. Those are useful to promote blogs or company. Consider also do follow.

Patience is virtue. To be a successful blogger you have to be patient. If nobody notices your blog, ask your friends and family to visit it (you can even bribe them if you want ). It is a nice start. Remember that your main purpose (aside from monetizing your blog ) is to share your thoughts.
Do you know what experts says? Blogging relaxes your mind and helps a person to have a good night sleep. Isn’t that a good reason enough to keep on blogging? Submit your RSS feeds to as many RSS sites as you can. This can give your blog instant backlinks when you post. You should also install auto-twitter plugin and auto-onlwire plugin. These can spread your post in minutes.

I guess its about discipline that you focus on your niche and continue posting related to it. never get tired.

One of the best way to populate your blog is, getting organic traffic, specially from google. Bring your blog to top # 3 for 5-6 keywords. That will give more traffic via google.

Content, content and content. you need to update blog frequently. blog which get updated quickly are usually crawled by google very quickly. Rss site also help you in getting visitor. I got my blog crawled within 10 min i post.
