Teacher Blog
1. Homework Assignments. This way students, and their parents, will know exactly what homework is expected and when it is due.
2. Student Essays. The students' best efforts can be posted as a reward for writing well.
3. Class Activities. Chronicle a trip, science experiment, or other activity and share it with the world.
4. Student Managed Site. Set up and monitor a site, but give the students access to post articles. This can help maintain a team spirit as they move up through the grades.
5. Study Tips. Instead of spending high school classroom time on how to research and write a report, or any other educational building block, post it. Then you can refer students to specific posts to help them teach themselves how to complete their assignments.
Whatever you decide, be sure to monitor and respond to comments.
