I spent a lot of time submitting my web site to every web directory and niche web directory I could find - and paid for some of the big ones too - only to find that many of them were useless, and did not provide back links.

I was just wondering, before I go into the whole process again with my blog - Is there a similar problem with blog directories?

Does anyone know which the top blog directories are?
