Let me tell you I have a blog related to “martial arts” topic, most of my visitors comes on my website for purchase instead of blogs, i have used every means to promote it, I even used forum, nicely projected keywords, even time to time I did SB for it, submitted to many Blogsites, but apart from this hard work, i sees less visitors on it. I dunno where I am lacking in it, do you have ideas the way you do for your blogs for its promotion.

Any Ideas on Increasing Blog Traffic?

My martial arts blog, [enter url], is not attracting traffic. I have mentioned it in forums, made sure my posts have good keywords, and submitted it to many Blogsites. In spite of all this effort, my number of viewerrs is declining.

Does your blog have video tutorials about the different types of Martial Arts? If so, you can upload it to social media sites like youtube for added traffic.

Have you tried doing some social bookmarking sites and bookmark your posts? Also, you can try using some social networking and media sites.

I just went to SEObook's keyword tool (http://tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/) and entered "martial arts" to see what people are searching for...

256 people use Google, Yahoo and MSN to search for "martial arts supplies" every day,

175 search for "martial arts styles,"

72 search for "health benefits of martial arts" every day,

... and the list goes on.

Look at what people want to know and post about it on your blog. Be sure to use the exact words they used in your headline and in the post so they'll have a good chance of finding it on search engines.

And yes, I have to agree with the other posters... if your blog isn't interesting, if it doesn't make people ** want ** to read it, it's not going to be a very effective promotional tool. If you'd rather get a root canal than write, consider having guest bloggers write posts for you or even outsourcing it.

Write interesting topic in your blog and buzz it on social bookmarking and social networking sites.

Target keywords that has traffic or you will never get much visitors. Also submit your feed.

hi mark, all the above suggestions are correct. i guess your main concern would be the content itself, it should be a great content, informative and should be seo friendly, keyword wise you should be competitive as well. if you can't do much of seo stuff, you can have someone else market your blog, get a good freelancer and work with that freelancer so they know what you want and how you want it.
