Leaving a comment and social bookmarking are the common methods to promote your blog. But if you want to earn at the same time join Redgage without a cost. I’ve joined more than a week ago and I’ve been using it also to promote articles. And lastly add your blog feed on your account here, like what I did.

Join communities at MyBlogLog Blog Catalog . where u find many bloggers

I started listing my site on blog aggregators. The ones that were the most successful for me related directly to my topics. After a while I noticed some blog aggregators starting picking up my posts. Either way, it gets your blog out there for others to find.

Okay here is the Plan..

1. Post your Blog in various blog directories as much you can
2. Try to join various bloggers of your interest. Subscribe them they will also subscribe you..
3. Post your article on blog
4. Ping your blog with pingler.. it will get noticed with many blog directories and search engines.
5. Post blogs news snippets on various social bookmarking site.
6. If you do feels to comment on other blogs.. do it thats the best parctice.
7. Connect your blog with twitter and facebook and other blog forums where your blog rss can be detect and readable with other member like in here..
8. Participate in various forum and talk on topic

If you follow these 8 rules you will start getting traffic overnight..

Just did one thing more than that, used Question Answer sites like Yedda and Yahoo Answers. As my blogs were based on strategies in forex people had queries related to it on these sites as well. It generated a lot of traffic for me.

Thats pretty clever, never thought of something like that

I promote my blog on social media, use blog commenting and sometimes write ezine articles too.

And offcourse writing great content is the best way to get content market itself.

Do the related forum posting and social bookmarking.But if you are really thinking about promoting your blog then I must say Social Bookmarking and Do-Follow blog commenting would be the best.

Personaly I`m with my blog on Twitter, BlogCatalog, got it in my sigs, doing pings after update and so on, how ever it`s not easy to get blog working. Propably it`s much better when a team put afford into one blog. More content, so people get fresh arts pretty often, becuase when you don`t make updates you are out of league.

The same method which are used to promote a website. There is no such difference in promoting a website.

Lately, I have been doing some blog commenting, and I believe it's working. Blog directories, forums, article writing. I do a little bit of everything.

The more you use some helpful sites like Digg, Yelp, del.icio.us, Facebook, etc., the better you will be able to have a great traffic on your site.

I do visit other blogs, then I have this Plurk account on which my blogsite url is posted there in my profile.

Commenting is a good way that I use to get targeted traffic.

To promote my blog i will do directory submission and also leave comments with my blog URL and also prefer social networking sites and I make a habit to update the content of blog just so it gets crawled and index more.

for me,I put the link on my facebook and twitter.submit my blog to blog directories.the most important one is updating my blog now and then.

many ppl say blog commenting is effective.but I never try it.you can try it to promote your blog.

Forums also is a big help to promote your blog, you are allowed to have at least 2 links as your signature. Its a great way to achieve links to your blog.

1. Talk about it publicly to people you work with
2. Advertise on google, your best bet!
