what are the things to consider in blogging?

Hi,
These are the things I consider before and after creating a blog:
-free or self-hosted blog
-search engine optimized templates for blog
-contents for blog
- promotion of blog
- advertisements to place in blogs so that I can monetize my blog

for a beginner its better to start using free hosted blog.. its easy and there's alot of resources online.. you can also lurk other related blogs to get some idea..

well u should start frm free blog services, look for online help to get started with..
