Ok, gang... this is probably going to come acrossed as a dumb question, but here goes...

I built a site for a friend of mine back in 2005 - it's one of those templates from TemplateMonster with tons of image slices that make up the "look & feel" of it.

I need to add a blog to it, but I don't want to send the visitor to a WordPress, et al, blog that won't look anything like her site.

Is there a way to insert the blog (the posts, the comments, the links to the 'Most Popular Posts,' etc.) into her existing site so I can keep the same "look & feel" throughout?

Ideally, I'd like to have the feed on the index page so visitors can see the latest posts, and if they click on one of the links, it'll take them to the blog on another page.

Is this do-able?

there sure is.. im thinking the name of the one i used was... nabble? look into it more

I went to nabble.com and saw "embed" [Duh! ] So I Googled that and saw what I needed to do it but then I saw that Google doesn't index iframes so by embedding it, I'd be shooting myself in the foot as far as getting googlejuice goes, right?

You can create sub folder into your domain and install wordpress into that sub folder which will not affect your main site. Refer this article:
