I only ping my sites using pingomatic.com. It's the most reliable ping site out there.

You can just use blogblaster to ping sites.

I don't have the list at-hand, but there are some excellent lists of pinging sites. I suggest pinging as many reliable sources as possible. Utilizing one service, such as pingomatic, has limitations.
