I'm new in Wordpress.

What is the best way to connect Wordpress with Twitter and Facebook? So, when I post something to Wordpress, Twitter and Facebook publish automatically. Is that possible?

You can go the other way around, but not sure how to update twitter upon creating a new post.

for Facebook, you can use a regular social networking plugin to allow users to submit the link on their accounts.

for Twitter, there's a plugin called Twitter Tools (which you can find in the WordPress plugin repository - wordpress.org/extend/plugins). I believe you need to setup a free account with bit.ly to get your API key to use in the plugin. your Twitter page will be updated everytime you create a new post or edit an older one.

For the twitter, there is currently 299 twitter tagged plugins for wordpress:

I personally used TwitMe and Commenttwitter.

Search for Status Updater Plugin for WordPress. It will allow you to enter in your account information. When you update pages/posts in your blog it will automatically update twitter and Facebook.

I've tried a number of these types of plugins and this is by far my favorite.

Twitter connect is my favorite, you only have to
Download the plugin.
Unzip and upload to / wp-content/plugins /
Activate from the admin panel, and cofigure it!

Download the plugins.

i am not using any plugin as i do not tweet every post on my blogs. but yea tweet sometimes with interesting posts which wud be really helpful for ppl around there

You can use twitme plugin in wordpress then connect your twitter to facebook by using twitter application in facebook.

You can find some apps to do it, most interesting way is to send your posts into twitter and then facebook app take it and post on your wall.
But this won't work if rss goes through twitterfeed or similar services,don't know why.

or you can use some sites like bit.ly, tr.im etc that can shorten your URL then it can publish it too on twitter and FB..

I'm using tweetmeme wordpress plugin and I connect my twitter account to facebook account. Just use the twitter application on facebook.

you can make your post visible to facebook by going to the "notes" section and import it. for twitter, I think wordpress already got a plug in for that (haven't tried it yet)

There is a free plugin for wordpress that you can also connect to facebook.

You can easily add facebook and twtter to wordpress.
