I am looking to put together a dynamic website where I will be linking a bunch of similar pages where just a few keywords will be edited.

I am not sure whether to use PHP or Wordpress. Here are some examples of what it will look like -

Homepage - http://www.pcerror.info/index.php
Landing page - http://www.pcerror.info/error/error%2010.html

I would also like to incorporate a section that includes a bunch of different articles which will not be dynamic like the landing page above.

What do you guys think I should do?

Okay pardon my ignorance. So then designing it on Wordpress would be better than making it a straight PHP site right? Because you can manage it easier without sacrificing customization?

So your question is then:

Should I develop my own CMS, or use an existing developed one?

Yep. I think he meant to say this thing.

I will suggest him to go for Wordpress.

It depends on the amount of customization you'll need and your level of PHP knowledge. I often build my CMS-es myself, because I find it easier to customize rather than searching or writing Wordpress plugins. But if you are not a php programmer, then of course choose Wordpress.

WordPress is coded on PHP

or it's possible you mean PHPCMS in which case I would choose WordPress.

In fact, to install Wordpress, one of the most popular publishing systems on market, and using the website, you need a web server with PHP and MySQL.

My vote = install WordPress and go from there. It's a robust platform and will provide you with everything you need (usually only a click/plug-in away).

You should go for wordpress because it is already good CMS with lots of plugins to extend the functionality. But maybe learning PHP and creating your own CMS will pay you off better in future.
