Hello there....... what about get links from social bookmarking?

I have already tons of directory (done them by myself) but I have not yet a social bookmarking exposure.... so in order to diversificate..... I'm thinking to purchase some kg of social :-)

Basically I was thinking to pay a company (not so much) to make manually some social bookmarking for me...it is a good idea?
It will positively affect my pr and serp and visits?
Any bad things can happen?

PR? Worth absolutely nothing for anything.

Visits? Sure, you will probably get more one hit wonder visits just to waste some data transfer.

serp? All depends what "serp" you were thinking about.

Social bookmarking can help to increase your pagerank but pr is not the important thing in every site. Just focus on keyword ranking.

Well, I can never really see on how people can only focus on Social Bookmark as a source of backlink. I wonder if they read what its definition and purpose is. it is for sharing files and sites on the internet, a great way to receive traffic. I'd say don't just use it for the sake of getting links, read its rules and regulations and see on how you can benefit most from it..

I'm also surprised, I have never considered social bookmarking before... but things change.

i get around 200 to 300 people daily on some of my site i only used social bookmarking and meta tags i need to learn more

I used social bookmarking to promote my blog, articles and websites because you can share them with friends.

BTW, what bookmarking sites have you found really useful? Any recommendations?

I do not like them, I just like forums

Till now I used stumble.... is not bad.... beside that I'm considering to let someone else do the job to bookmark me in socials.... Today here is a sunny day and considering to go out to take some photos with my new lens!!!

Honestly, I'm just using propeller in Social bookmarking and I'm getting a traffic with it. And in social networks, stumbleupon, twitter and facebook helps too..
But it's not the best way to gain your backlinks.

I have never seen Social book marking as a Back link to any of the sites, Social book markings is to bookmark a site which you liked it with very informative and share it among your peers so as to let them know about the site.

You will gain backlinks from these social bookmarks but never over use it or spam it because they might ban your website or your account.

Social bookmarking looks like to be a huge topic with so many different ideas and opinions. I did not expect that.

Obviously social bookmarking will help to increase your traffic. As most of the social bookmarking links are no follow I do not think it will help in SERP or PR.
But social bookmarking is good for promotion. So you can diversify from directory submission to social bookmarking. Best of luck.

Engaging in social bookmarking? Here are some of the benefits of it:

Fast indexing
increase link popularity
provides natural links
generate traffic

Make a good amount of posts regularly to have benefits when using social bookmarks. Beware of making several, that may be seen as spam.
