guys..i have question about blogspot.
some of my friend using blogspot (they not using own domain)

lets say his domain is h t t p : // example.blogspot.com
all i know is blogspot sub domain DONT have www infron it.
but when he put comment on my blog he always using WWW infron it.
he write it http : / / www. example. blogspot. com


i dont understand. is we allowed to put WWW infron blogspot sub domain?????

nothing to stop you (provided it works of course)

But then of course you may be stuck with canonical "issues" with no way of correcting them.

because somehow i just feel that isnt right. here i give one real example
http:// www. raini-aikidoka. blogspot. com << she always write comment using www everywhere she go (even on blogger link exchange). but guess what...lately (my guess about since 2 month ago)...she CAN NOT comment on her own blog. somehow its not make me shock...she come to my blog few times (well blogger do visit each other often) and saying that she cant komen on her own blog
but its makes me think...thats maybe because she WRITE www infron Blogspot domain?????

wew..no wayyy...im trying to minimize "weird" or not normal things on my blogging journey. im newbie. i do love to try new thing but..trying "not normal" things...i wont so..i think she cant comment on her own blog because those...its eror now

Whether it have WWW or doesn't have WWW it's not an issue but its better to know what is your site canonical url and in that way you will know if you will use the www. or not.

I kinda wish Google would allow us an option to use non-www or www, to prevent SEO related issues.

And www looks ugly on a blogspot address.

If you never use the www subdomain there are no "SEO" ISSUES.

But what if someone decides to link to your site and adds the www in? There's no way for us to make the www redirect to non-www.

The blogging community know that "blogspot" or "blogger" blogs do NOT normally have a WWW in front, so nobody is likely to do that "by accident.
Most people would link to what they see in the address bar so the addition of the WWW is unlikely, unless (as in this case) you do it yourself for some unknown reason.

both cases proved that not all blogging community understand that blogspot dont have www
actualy i know quite alot people using www infron they blogspot domain.

It really doesn't matter. with www or without www ..... it reaches the same place.

as long as you redirected in same page there's nothing to worry about..but when it comes to SEO counting of links it may give you different results..so just use 301
