I am not positive but i think you should write in your blog when you have something to say instead of writing in it to try and get higher rankings.

on average i write 10-20 post entry monthly for each of my blog

Blog posting does not give you higher rankings.

Its doesn't matter how much posts you make in a blog.You can write daily,or once in a week or once in a while(i stick to the last one).But when you post it,make sure it is good.Its boring when you post daily and it will effect your quality of your posts. Give fresh contents,write posts that each include trackbacks to other blog posts,and most importantly be patient-it always will take some time to get what you want.

Well i think posting count is not too much necessary for getting attention of search engine. The main thing is that articles/post must be fresh and unique and posted regularly. Also dont do like me freind who write in his blog that "Charge your ipod from potatos" just for getting traffic to his blog.

I am with you on this.
Problem is people are focusing on the search engines instead of the people that are reading their blogs

Not so much Search Engines, just more on getting "visitors" who will click on their adverts.

Problem these "experts" are giving "advice" to people who want to do something genuinely useful with their sites, and advertising revenue is merely a bonus NOT a way of life!

Update your blog regularly, write some new, fresh articles so people would be coming back to read. That way, your traffic will increase.

Post your blog for visitor, not for search engine. Make it informative. Post unique content.

I think you should blog every couple of days to keep your site indexed well, wait to long and google might not crawl it as often.
