Personally i prefer the wordpress, I think it's very easy to use also many themes are available for free and can match your topic. Google contain many different sites offer free amazing themes.

If you have time for a learning curve, take up wordpress (self hosted). If you want a blog for your business this instance, blogger is the choice.But be warned that you might run into a bit of problem when youve decided to migrate to wordpress when blogger doesn't appeal to you anymore.

These two sites are great. But for me, I am using Wordpress, it's user friendly and I get nice results.

I had personally done the same research as you about a month ago. I did a lot of reading, comparing, and reading review sites.. To my conclusion, the most updated, flexible, and free blogging software must be Wordpress. Again, just my personal observations and research, but if you take a look at some professional blogs, many of them are Word-press based. Hope this helps.

I keep answering this question again and again that if you mean a business on blog, and really serious about it, there is only best option is to host wordpress on self hosted private domain,

I mean purchase domain and hosting, and install wordpress in it.

I would opt with Wordpress. Extremely easy to implement and use. Loads of plugins as you've said.
