I am freelance SEO and I have very small question in my mind.
Does blog commenting is considered as spam with respect to Google ranking?
What if I have all back-links to my website through only blog comments?
If I post 100 or 200 blog comments to my related website then does this will be considered as Spam?
Whatever the blog type Do follow or No-Follow

No it will not count as a spam. You can do it but personally I would like to say that work in all channels not work in only one channel.

comments will still be helpful though but that is if your comments are approved

Commenting is only considered spam when you don't post information that is relevant to the topic and you leave your link url . Than only is it considered spam.

If your comment is relevant to the topics, and your site is also related to the site that you comment. It will be considered as spam when in your comment contains many links with nonsense ideas about topics.

Comment will not be cosider as spam when it approve by the owner. Many blog will not accept spam comment.

Dear Ganesh, I think it's a peculiar question! I don't know why you'll try to get all of your site backlinks from posting comments in blogs!! So do you think forums, articles, social bookmarkings, directories and all other sources are not useful?!

No It won't only if your comments are of high quality and related to the blog.

As a "few" have touched on blog commenting is not considered spam if you are actually contributing something to the discussion... something relevant.

Commenting with something like, "Nice post" or "Thanks for sharing", is typically spam. Be even then, it's only really considered spam from the blog owner's perspective.

How can you possibly call yourself a "freelance SEO" if you have to ask a question like this? It's people like you who learn a few VERY basic concepts or buzzwords about SEO and then go out and sell themselves as some sort of "professional" SEO that give the whole industry a bad name. If you have to ask that question, you have no business getting paid to do SEO work.

Sorry if that sounds harsh, but it's a fact.

Blogs are a very important part of the internet. For this reason comments on them should be seen as conversational and not necessarily spam. Keep commenting, keep on topic and don't worry about too many or too little.
