which is the best blog component for joomla cms which has typical features like a wordpress websites such as creating blog posts, user comments on blog post, arranging posts into different categories, archiving posts, recent comments, tag cloud, blogroll and other features of a wordpress website

so why not simply use Wordpress in that case??

Word Press is better for this purpose.Its really friendly in use as well in amendment of anything over there.

If you wanted a blog why didnt you go with WP in the first place?? What made you choose Joomla?
(I am just curious)

I have a client right now that has a traditional Joomla site. When I suggested they add a blog to their site so that they could generate new content (since the rest of their site is pretty static, brochureware), we researched this and really didn't like the Joomla options. They hate managing their existing site in Joomla anyway.

So we ended up deciding to simply convert the entire site (including the static, brochureware pages) over to WordPress. There is just no comparison when it comes to usability.

Just use wordpress. It is very good and many plugin can be usefull for you.

If you are looking for features like wordpress, why don't you use it instead of choosing another CMS like Joomla?
