I have several blogspot blogs and I'm a UK blogger but because they are all .com and US hosted most of my traffic is from the US not UK. Any idea of how to get better rankings/traffic from Google.co.uk for blogspot blogs?

Lots more internet users in the USA so that maybe why.

for free you can submit on UK directory or forum and link exchange based on UK,.. for paid service,.. just buy traffic targeted,..

You might want to consider a paid host and a UK TLD....then direct your traffic via text link to your other sites...

Remember that free blogs can disappear without notice and all your hard work is for naught...

get links from uk doamin than you will be ranked on google uk

Try to get links from UK sites if your targeted visitors is from UK. try to use this command on google site:*.uk + keywords

try to find some co.uk directories, blogs and forums and submit your site there, hopefully you will get uk traffic

Regarding posts onto forums, will any forum do or is there a certain type?

Just putting a contact email of yourdomain.blogspot@yahoo.co.uk will help.

I like the contact idea.

Put UK in the title, and in various h1 h2 on the site and it will rank for both. It is annoying that blogspot assumes the world is US based.

Priority .co.uk in exchanging links with your blog or sites. Another is, join .co.uk forums and other Social neworking which UK people always stay.

I don't suggest exchanging links with any website but social bookmarking and social network websites can help you to rank higher.

You are correct. Because blogspot is a .com (non-ccTLD) and hosted in the US, it is assumed that ALL of those free sites hosted there are targeting Google.com instead of Google.co.uk.

If you want to get your blogspot blog to rank better in Google.co.uk then I would recommend:

1) Use Google Webmaster Tools to specify UK as your Geographic target under the Site Configuration -> Settings screen and
2) Build links to your site from other domains that are also primarily targeting Google.co.uk (i.e. other sites that have a .co.uk ccTLD or that rank well already in Google.co.uk).

Well, you should learn all possible tricks on how to generate traffic to your web site.

Forum signature, links exchange, etc..
Try to do a search in the Net for any info.
