quite confused here,
I am updating my blog often but how come the search engines dont cache it often and the inner pages are not getting indexed.Any suggestions

First, you must write quality content.
Second, you should do more backlinks for your blog

submit the articles to some directories and bookmarking sites such as digg ans tumbleupon.
i sometimes update my site daily, but sometimes weekly

dont worry , keep post original content , google will love your site .

Normally blog is updated on weekly basis because it is the best source of getting information from internet.So blog owner update their blog on weekly basis as well.

Try to submit your page on stumbleupon to get index, ping the page or if your blog is wordpress use the auto ping features. It automatically ping the page once there's a new post on your blog.

Wait for some days and continue writing the posts and bookmarking them into social bookmarking sites.
All your post will get crawled and indexed as well.

If you're referring to your xxx site then you have 8 pages indexed. at Google and Yahoo! knows about 12 backlinks, most of which are from WarriorForum. I didn't check but I'd be willing to bet ALL or at least MOST point to your home page only.

Considering 1) you host your site on blogspot, 2) only have 15 posts 3) only have 12 known back links according to Yahoo! and 4) the site seems to be only 1 month old, 8 pages indexed is probably more than your deserve.

Build more content... and more importantly build backlinks to the individual post pages.

I suggest you do a 3-times-a-week update (so that your readers have ample times to read your posts)

My personal blog is updated each time something nice happens and I want to share it to my friends. It's around twice a week.

Before, I regularly update my blog but now that I'm too in other things, I use to update my blog, 2 to 3 times a week.

Several times a month...as time permits...

Try submitting your articles to bookmarking sites, blog directories etc. And also make sure that you have "good content".

Any relation to the thread? I must be a wrong post.

I'm updating my blog several times a month. Just keep posting articles at least one per day, and use a unique keywords

I think every 3 -4 days is good and can help you to have your visitors for ever.

From my last blog, I used to post about 3 articles a week.

All of the blogs that I've written targeted certain keywords and were high in quality. ( They got a lot of traffic from search engines )

It kept the readers reading because of its useful information,

Company blog is updated daily, however other blogs whenever I have some spare time for its.

Myabe your content is not original?
Maybe it is because of Google. If you update you blog once a week\day, bot do as well.
