To earn per hour you should have atleast 500+ visitors every hours.. Anf if you are updating your blog from last 2-3 years then you can easily earn 100

I think it is best to start earning anything and then try to earn by the hour but I would still count it by day not hour

Its dependent on the quality of blog and amount of traffic your blog is getting. And about work. It is upto the way you make posting and frequency of posting.
