A search widget is also good to have too. I usually use lijit.

I want to add a form on my WP blog with 2-3 fields and 2-3 selections. After visitor fills in the form and press Submit I want to analyse the info and write a text string under the form.
Is this a task for Widget, Plugin or else? Are there any resources that help to make such things without programming?

Feedjit is a great widget to have. Try it. Google for it and see how wonderful it is.
