I've never known someone that said "updating blogs frequently" is better than "blogs with quality content" , in terms of SEO.

Maybe you should read some of the "5 impotant SEO tip" threads we get.


Well the one that haven't been deleted as junk anyway.

I wish that would explain why one of my blogs which is only content rich stuff got dropped by Google from a PR 4 to a PR1 over a year ago and has never regained, even though my traffic and users has increased and I continue to add good posts - although not daily.

It's probably because content, traffic and users are absolutely nothing to to with SGB PR.

WHy update? there are few bloggers who update once in a month with original and amazing content.
Content must be original to rank in higher search engines.
