4. Release 2 manifestos.
5. Interview cool people. People like talking about cool people.

You are about the only person here with a decent answer to this question.
I think everyone is missing the big picture here. Don't waste time promoting anything that is not worth promoting in the first place. Honestly, I don't think anyone actually took a look at your blog before spouting off the same old mantra (comment on blogs, submit to social networks, yada, yada) as if it were some magic pill.
Your niche is like hundreds, maybe thousands, of other blogs out there with the same old message. And it is a very competitive niche at that. You have to ask yourself, what makes yours different and how can I make it stand out and get more attention.
It is obvious by looking at your blog that you don't have anything to offer except finding some software, writing their promo copy into the post, and calling it good. I am sorry if I sound harsh, but I am not the kind of guy to tell you to do x, y, and z then everything is going to work out fine.
Blogs on Blogspot are almost an automatic death sentence. They carry a stigma. And even if you are serious about blogging and do some great writing, other people are not going to care and will never link to you a majority of the time.
If I were you and you really want to blog, then blog about something that you are passionate about. Blog what you know, not what others know or tell you -- real bloggers are not parrots.
