It does depend on the "offence" of course.
Speech is still free here and just because someone is speaking their mind it does not mean they have broken any law, slander or libel only occur when the statement is untrue.
Provided they are not attempting to incite anything illegal, it is their perogative so say what they want.
We may not want to hear it or agree with it, but everyone has the right to be stupid and to let the world know about it.
There are plenty of politicians and world "leaders" who prove that every day of the week.
