I have a startup in services area, and I am not analyzing the option to have a blog on Posterous or Wordpress. From my research, I have seen that WP is loved for its SEO-rich features and by businesses, whereas Posterous is loved for its simplicty + seo easy + ability to post to Facebook, Twitter, and other social websites from a click or from email.
I am using WP on another business blog and to be honest I hard it find to use it at full capacity due to the robust interface.
I am asking for an advice from the SEO lovers out there: what do you think is the best SEO option in my case?

Just a tip: my website will be programmed on Wordpress and the blog can be Wordpress or Posterous.

As said previously SEO is NOTHING to do with the platform that delivers the content to user agents.

for me, what is important is how you optimize the sites it doesn't matter on what platform, mostly I handled wordpress but I follow the same approach.

There is a place in Posterous where you can set it, so that when you post there it will also post to your wp blog… Why not take advantage of posting to your twitter, fb & blog all at once?

agreed, SEO campaign success would depend on your work and efforts..

Thanks for the reply. I recognize the fact that SEO depends on how you do it, not the platform. Anyway, I have chosen WP and will choose Posterous for a personal new startup pretty soon, to see its potential.

And it takes time to see the results of your efforts.

my posterous account posts to lots of different places that all link back to a blog that is on my own site. but the seo has little to nothing to do with the platform and more to do with your content, just pick the one you think has a better user interface and works better.

Doesn't matter, you can use plugins that will help you to manage your SEO
