What are your thoughts on the best Wordpress slider?

Also, I found a really great javascript slider that I was trying to figure out how to integrate into wordpress. Anyone know how to? And if I make a post, is there a way to automatically update the slider to show that newest post? Thanks guys.

I think it all depends on the sites creator and what they like. As in many things just because 1 person likes it doesn't mean the next one will or anyone else for that matter.

I've been on the hunt for the perfect Wordpress content slider. For use right out of the box, I like the Featured Content Gallery plugin. Another decent one I've found is WP Glideshow -- you can have a lot more control over the appearance of it, but you do have to mess with the plugin's internal stylesheet, which is sort of annoying (just be sure to back it up somewhere so you don't lose it whenever you have to update the plugin).

to get rid of the difficulty in looking or a great slider and integrating in to wordpress, just look for a theme has a built-in slider already.

Or try using nivo slider. It is very easy to integrate in to wordpress and it is free though they have a pro version as well.
