I want to start a new blog based on business, world economy, stock markets, and marketing. However, currently I do not have any money to purchase a domain with.

My question here is, if I start a Blogspot blog, will it be possible for me to move the data over to a wordpress platform on my own domain later on? If so, will this effect my incoming traffic, my SERP's and anything else?

Also will it cause a problem with the SERP's by saying my new domain has copyrighted content that is actually content I originally wrote?

Thanks for any answers pertaining to these questions, it is deeply appreciated.

I've been trying to shift to Wordpress too, and my current blog is blogspot. How is it possible?

So what make you a financial expert if you don't even have the patry sum to purchase and host a domain???

Rankings and SE referrals are to the URI, so it will not affect anything at all, because if you change URIs you will not have any rankings traffic or anything else to worry about.

It is not copyright material that can be a problem because if it is your copyright you can publish the material wherever and whenever you wish
It is the fact that it is a COPY that makes it a "problem"

I think it is possible, as you can save an XML of your blog and then export it to anything. Maybe with little help of programmers.

Yes it is possible to do that I found some great results in Google or you can use a WordPress plugin.

It can be done on the fly if you have a self hosted domain with wordpress with free blogger import plugin. Once installed, go to Manage > Import > Blogger and its done. You can pull all your data.
