Hello, I was wondering how hard it is to go from psd to wordpress? I know HTML and CSS for the most part. I don't know too much about wordpress though. Is it hard to learn if you know HTML and CSS?

I can't say much about psd, but over all, wordpress is pretty easy. You have both a visual/compose view and an html view. So you'll find icons to help you create links, insert images, etc.

I do find wordpress to be a little quirky though. For example, I'll format my post with line breaks to get the spacing I want. But if I go back to the visual view and save changes, wordpress strips all of my manual line breaks.

Other than a few quirks, I think it's a decent back end for creating posts and not that difficult to learn.

If you know HTML/CSS then there should be no problem. Because when you're handling PSD to Wordpress, you're only building the templates (which is generally CSS). Make things easier: use a developer framework e.g. Thematic that has everything ready and all you have to do is edit the CSS and add the graphics.
