I use Wordpress with a free theme called suffusion, it's extremely versatile and well supported.

UPDATE: minor bug in suffusion theme, apparently it affects about 1% of users, lucky me.

It seems most friends reply here are using wordpress. I am using blogger. Is there wordpress better than blogger? I never learn about that.

Only last January 2011 that I focused on blogging and someone suggested that blogger was easy to use. So, I used blogger for my 5 blogs and it's working steadily up to this day. In addition, I tried one blog at Wordpress and I found the Liquorice? theme was brilliant with easy and clear posts.

As I observed, I cannot totally add some other plugins or third party ads on it. Also, blogger was totally easy to manipulate from dashboard and lots of third parties ads can do.

I use both wordpress and blogger blogs, Wordpress is one of the most popular self hosting blogging platform and easy to use and customize.

I have used all, but find wordpress the easiest.

I installed Movable Type 5, then found out there was NO MANUAL.

The online documentation was a joke. No terms defined, no goals set for processes, not even an overview over the software.

It's also very awkward because it demands of you to create a "website" first, and then the blog. If you aren't careful (which is impossible, as there's no manual), you may erase your website you want to attach the blog to.

I deleted MT from my server.

Now I downloaded WordPress. There are great, simple themes that you can improve (CSS in blog software seems to be totally different from applying CSS to an HTML based website).

I use wordpress and Blogger.
Just added Posterous for about 1 week ... so can't say I really use it.

I'm staing with wordpress since 08 and over the time you get used to it also it's the most common one so you can easily can find plugins or other tutorials when needed

I have been blogging since 4 years and my blogging platform is Blogger. I just wanted to know which Platform you blog on?

I'm currently using Wordpress. I've had blogspot but no longer using it

I use WordPress... the best CMS ever.

As tittle says it all let me know what do you think is good for blogging between Blogger and Wordpres... any suggestions!!
