if you are looking and traffic from Search engines, then it would also be good to submit to search engines and directories and then build back links to your site. Thus improving the ranking of your site on these search engines

However don't expect your traffic to sore over night. It takes time and dedication to get quality traffic.

I think you can participate in Google Adwords and Text-Link-Ads. But, if I were to tell my personal story, I now get 60+ uniques a day. I never spend a penny or a second on optimizing my site. I just posted everyday and pinged all of them and gradually traffic started to build.

And, I would highly recommend MyBlogLog. Have a community around your site and it will lure a lot of traffic. In the world of web 2.0 and social media, I think Mybloglog helps a lot in enhancing relationship with your readers. For eg, I've added most of my readers as friends at Mybloglog and I get a lot of respect for that. People love being friends with people they admire/like(in my case. I'm not a celebrity to get admired).

Anyway, if you're gonna start a Mybloglog community for your site, please let me know, I wanna be a member. Boy, do I like cellphones or what ?!

What makes your blog better then the 10,000 other cell phone blogs out there. Do you have anything that gives you an edge over sites such as mobletracker or even gizmodo?

The reason I ask is because no matter how much incoming traffic you can get by sites such as digg or well made marketing plans, in the end the strength of your userbase is decided by return visitors.

And if you have nothing to warrant a return visit.. then what good will any amount of incoming traffic do for your blog?

So to answer your question: Visit cell phone forums and make useful posts and topics with a link to your blog in your signature. You will slowly get targeted traffic this way.

Then that`s good. Maintain and be on top not only on google but on other seo categories. You know, you have a very interesting and updated site. Therefore you should take care of your topic.
