Blogging is the new online chat.

My seventeen year old son and I were actually laughing over this today. He and his friends are very big into blogging. They are addicted to it almost as some people were addicted to Internet Relay Chat several years back. In fact they will write into each others comments and blogs while sitting together in the same room and then say, "Look what I said."

It would seem to be the truth. Sites like MyLot and MySpace are the huge trend right now. Kids and adults alike seem to enjoy the sharing of photos and comments and diary type entries. It's a little more interesting to look at a photo album type layout than it is to check out photos one at a time. It's just more "eye-candy".

Well, Maybe. Posting comments on blog is quite more relative like ym and emails. Depending on what they would prefer then that`s good.

It could also help in the promotion of the blog.

Enjoy it and relax for the betterment of your topic.

Thanks for the shared thoughts.

I've noticed that too. Blogs are becoming the in thing among teens. Much better than being addicted to gaming.

Blogging has certainly become as popular as chat used to be, Though they operate on different levels.
Chat = a lot of people discussing something equally.
Blogging = I'm saying this, What do you think?

The only blogs i read are "lecture type" blogs. What i mean by that is when someone who i trust to have knowledge in an industry wants to tell me something, I'm more than happy to listen (read).

Personal blogs don't interests me at all. Even when Matt Cutts writes about his roller hockey i never read it. He's a clever guy, But why does he think i care in the slightest about his life outside of Google?

I tend to also ignore his "look how great we are" posts where he bangs on about how great Google is and what a great job him and his friends are doing.

When i have finished reading a blog post i want to think "I have learned something", Not "oh, Matt cutts played roller hockey on Thursday".
