there are a lot of good 3 column templates on the net already. Do a search for "three column blogger templates" or "free three column blogger templates" and you'll come across a bunch of them. If you search for "blogger hacks" or "blogger beta hacks" you'll come across many tutorials for pimping out your blog and many bloggers that show you how what you need to do to get the 3 column template. I converted mine following the instructions from other blog hackers.

There's also a member here who's SN I can't remember that has free 3 column website templates in his link (adam web design?) that load pretty fast and are good for SEO. I saw a blogger recently explain how you can take a website template and convert it into a blogger template. I've not done it myself because I can barely understand how to, but if you're better with code you could do something like that. I've been meaning to PM the member here and telling him to do some three column templates because there are a lot of people searching the net for them.

You can find a lot of widgets on widgetbox.com

hey no worries.

I just checked over your blog. See you started it already, pretty cool. Can I suggest a couple of things? All of those social bookmarking links in your right-sidebar are unnecessary. If you sign up with feedburner.com many of them are default and feedburner give you a couple of free site stats.

There are some really nice buttons you can hack into your template for social-bookmarking but there is also a simple one click button from addthis.com so you don't need to have all of the social bookmarking links in your sidebar. It's not as pretty as some of the javascript ones I've seen that some bloggers have but it gets the job done. And you place it beneath your posts.

If you want to see an example of both of those see my blog.

Also I don't know if it's suppose to be that way (because I don't know how to do it) but the feed for your blog under your SN here looks weird.

Thanks learning newbie.

Adam you were sort of. I've been meaning to PM you about your templates, I keep going back to look at them and reading your site in the hopes that the info will suddenly sink in, but I guess it doesn't work that way.

I was e-mailing a blogger hacker I know who has helped me with modifying my template and we were talking about how impressed we were with your templates. She ended up putting your link in her resources links (bloggeruniversity.blogspot.com) along with the other sites she recommends. Have you thought about modifying your templates to make them blogger templates to increase visits to your site or links to you? There are a ton of three blogger templates but most of them are slow to load and even more people searching for them. On another blogging forum there are always newbies looking for three column templates or different templates than what blogger has.

I keep getting hits to my blog after I mentioned hacking mine in a post. I've read some tutorials on how to modify free template to make them blogger templates but it's all Greek to me. You could probably do it and offer them on your site in a few minutes. Something to think about if you're looking for some more traffic or back links to your site.

Play with the style areas. Look especially for #outer-wrapper. I just struggled with the same thing on my blog, and I'd show you more detail, except I think I'm using a different theme, so my technical details would just confuse you.

But go to template, and then edit html, and you'll find it.

I haven't made any fluid templates but the gist is that you are changing your px values to % depending on how large your outter wrapper is. The main area getting the largest percentage and your sidebars getting the rest. Don't forget to leave some space for in between your bars and content when assigning them the percentages.

I like this blog for hacks and if you look she's done it and explains how to and if you have questions they may already be answered in the comments section.
