First bit of advice is wrong. Don't submit your blog ( or other site ) to search engines, because this is a complete waste of your time. Instead, spend that time creating an html link on a site the engines know about, and from this they'll discover yours.

Your design is quite attractive, I'd just fix the content of the article.

The whole article could use some tweaking now that I am reading the whole thing carefully. But you do make some interesting points!

Well there's some truth to it, but I agree, the article needs a lot of tweaking.

Take my blog, for example. I've dropped one link to it, ever, anywhere. I launched it two days ago, and there have been 30 visitors as of last night ( when I had a chance to check the statistics ). Some of them were from here, which makes sense, some of them from www2.blogger.com ( I'm not sure who they are ), and some from technorati.com - not sure how they even found out about me yet, but still. The point is I'm getting a lot more traffic than I'd ever expect with zero seo work.

This traffic all comes on the basis of what I've written, and nothing else. If someone else tries the same approach ( unique, thought-provoking content ) and adds seo into the mix, they'll rule the world.

Seriously, have a look at my blog ( I'm still trying to figure out how to make it display my latest post, and take people there, by the way ), and you'll understand why it's already more popular than it should be.

you should check this article http://hoctro.blogspot.com/2006/11/b...osts-beta.html to put latest posts widget in ur blogspot blog.

and ur #main-wrapper 's width is too big.I don know from IE but from firefox it is a little bit big and the sidebar is at the bottom of the page because of the width.

Well, dude, it would be better if you could make the sub-headings like "Networking" and all into numbered lists so that you can it would be easier for readers to go through.

There's another advantage. If you're a regular reader of Brian's Copyblogger blog, you should know that "5 tips to" or "7 easy ways" or any kind of numbered titles work best in luring people's attention.

Good, simple, to the point summary of techniques, but as written that article cannot be used as a tutorial or how-to-guide. What would really put that article over is if you expand on each of the main topics in future posts. There is a lot of data to cover with blog/website promotion. Nicely done so far.
