There were days where I updated everyday, more than once a day! Then, there are times I update once a week... times where I only put 2 words. And now I haven't updated over a month XD Once, I spent 4 months with no updates, as well.
But I still visit it regularly. I don't know why, I guess I just like reading what I've posted before ^_^

Why not just write whenever your inspiration hits you BUT post regurarly?? You can write and schedule the blog to post your writings regurarly (like once a 2-3 days even if you wrote 10 posts today)...

It is not everyday when I actually have something to say XD So it is hard to set an schedule ^.~v

I understand...but in the days when you have something to say try not to post all at once , in the same day. Schedule some of those posts for the days you think you won't have anything to say...so all the time you have something scheduled to be posted so you won't have such huge gaps between posts (4 months it's a little too much I guess when it comes to a blog)....

Once a week for me.

Three or four times a day (all 10,000 of them) LOL

I update my blog about three times in a week. That is the average I think. Sometimes daily, other times skip a few days.

Whenever the need arises, or whenever inspiration hits me. My blog is tied to the business networking site mentioned in my sig, and it's chiefly about changes to the site and other site-related items. So if there's nothing about the site that's really changed, then I tend not to post.

We have had some great guest-bloggers though with some fantastic business-related posts. Was an idea I got from another blog, and much to my surprise I found almost all the bloggers I contacted said they'd be happy to make a guest post. Good idea to try to help broaden your blog and get more exposure for it.

I have got a few of them so it varies between one and five times a week.

i update mine on a bad day...just once or twice...on a good day about 3-6 posts in a day....music blog

We cover just four topics on our blog. However with the exception of Sunday's we update our blog daily. We write between 500 and 2000 words a day. Note though that our blog is really new about 4 months old now. I should respond after 24 months.

I update my blog once a week.....because i don't have time to make it twice, i'd just post fresh content and etc.

When you are a new blogger you should post everyday 1 or 2 posts a day.After couple of months when you have been patiently updating your blog and consistenly writing blogs eventually you'll get a higher page rank and u'll be indexed in google. once you are ranked well then you can cut down on your posts to couple a post a week.

I have several blogs and the one that gets updated depends on what new info and or data I have is applicable to the blog. I try to update each at least once a week but my schedule does not always allow it so some go weeks before a update. I need an organizer of some type?

I am a new blogger i generally write about 2 blogs a day! i just started a month ago and my traffic is increasing and my page rank is getting better so i'd say writing everyday definately helps.

The more often the better (ideally spaced out 4-8 hours between them), from my experience, and the things I try to keep in mind:

1) Writing catchy post titles
2) Adding something new in every post
3) Using big pictures at the top of each post

for me once a week....its tiring to update it daily...

I think, you should not blog everyday, just because you think it's good to blog in a regular basis. Blog whenever you get an idea for a good post, and not if there is the time to blog!

I will blog at least once a month and there are times which I do it almost every week. Blogging can be really time consuming, and there are other aspect of the business beside blogging which I have to take care of.
