I try to update my blog at least twice a week. But I prefer 3 times a week. I have 3 blogs, so something has to give. The time is just not there to update all 3 blogs, more then 3 times a week.

And if you count video blogging, my blog on youtube gets updated 2 - 4 times a month. Between November and December I went 6 weeks without updating my video blog.

I've been updating my blog once a week, or once every 4 or 5 days if I'm lucky. I don't have the time to produce a post a day. And I know that people tend to expect that from their favorite blogs, but there some blogs I enjoy that don't update once a day.

It seems to me that there is pressure to either make a post a day or to start a team of bloggers and rotate so that there is one post per day. I sometimes wonder if this is true, if some other team of bloggers will compete for your niche, but I really try not to worry about it too much, because there is only so much I can do right now.

I put once a week, but its more like twice a week anymore. When I have less time, it goes down to once a week.

I do update my blog daily. It's my hobby anyways and I always wanted it too.

I'm starting to update my blog once every 3-4 days now. I have this long backlog of entry ideas, with some notes jotted down too. At first I though I should space them out once a week in order to make it through 52 weeks for my first year, and have some ideas left over for after that...but now that I keep getting more blogging ideas each week, I'm not worried so much about running out of ideas.

I update my blog 2 every month

Some days I can write a few posts in a row and then go for over a month without anything, it really depends on whether I have something interesting to say. Totally inspiration based.

I havent updated my blog in a really long time.... It's not good.
But when I was really working on it, I was trying to update a minimum of every other day. I think for a blog to be successful that has to be the case.

Once a day for me, to feed the spiders and make them want more.

LOL. I think you have great idea. Feed more the spiders.

I try to post every 4-5 days. But it can get hard when I get busy with schoolwork and other things that I have to get done in the day. I try really hard though not to let it get to be 7 days or more before a new post, because a week for a blog can be like an eternity.

since my blog is about music lyrics...i update it once or twice a day...while i update my other blogs once a week....

That's a good point, with things like lyrics (where there are literally millions of songs) you want to update more frequently.

Since I'm not talking about the news or current events, I have more time to think out each post and I don't think my readers expect as much from me. I've been noticing lately too that blogs in my niche tend to do the same thing, aim for one post each week.

I like to post daily on my main blog but on my other blogs I am going to start posting once a week.

Since I'm just starting out I'm trying to post at least 2-3 times a week. Due to the nature of what my blog is, it's really not possible for me to update more frequently than that.

For new blog, it's better to update it daily;
For the blog which has been indexed by Google, update it 2-3 times once a week, it will be ok.

I'm now updating my blog two times a month. If I have free time I do it every week.

I update my blog when you have thought to write something worthwhile. It turns out 1-2 times a week.
